i was so excited when i read reviews about these covers before they ever came out. I was on a waiting list for them and got them right away. I thought they were the answers to my diapering issues.

We are SOOOOO disappointing with them! I have about 10 different kinds of diapers of all different styles and have been cloth diapering for about 2 years. The Velcro on these wore out immediately and they fall off our son every time we put them on. They are our last resort diaper choice in the drawer, we only use them if we absolutely have to. We have had them for a long time, but get barely any use out of them. for us, they were a waste of money.

Cloth diapering was a hard sell for me at first, because the up-front cost of the all-in-one diapers was so high (a few hundred dollars). However, for about $60 I was able to get started with some prefolds, Snappis (highly recommended instead of pins!) and Bummis covers. I like the Super Brite covers better than the traditional ones because you can wipe out the inside. Also, there is an extra layer of elastic around the legs to help keep everything in. I figure that over the long term (my baby is 6 months old), I will likely save a few hundred dollars.

This cover (cost, ease of use, etc) made it easy for me to begin cloth diapering my baby!

My favorite PUL wraps are Bummis Super Whisper Wraps. This wrap is my second favorite. It is comparable in structure to the classic Thirsties wrap, but I find this one superior. This wrap has a a very bright and colorful polyester outer and trim, and the inside leaves the PUL layer exposed for easy cleaning I suppose. Wiping pee/poo off the PUL minicleans the wrap, extending usage. The leg gussets are a nice touch and the aplix closure system is very sturdy, hasn’t curled or pilled, and allows this wrap to be fully adjustable. It is also roomy, making it great for prefold diapers underneath. I have no experienced any smell issues, staining, pilling, or wicking with this cover. As I mentioned earlier, this wrap is comparable to the Thirsties wrap. They both have gussets, aplix closure, and an exposed PUL iner layer with a polyester outer. However in the same length of time (one moth for this size, four months total), my bummis have held up much better. I have expereinced cracks in the PUL, separation of the PUL from the polyester, discoloration of the white trim and aplix, pilling of the polyester and aplix, and curling of the aplix with Thirsties. I treat all my PUL covers the same. Wash with my prefolds (cold water and vinegar prewash, hot water and All free and clear with no brighteners, and a second rinse). I occasionally tumble dry them, but usually line dry indoors since it is winter. This is a wonderful cover in combination with a cotton prefold. I can also use a hemp doubler for naps with NO fit issues. Shipping was fast and their customer service is great. I highly recommend this wrap!

P.S. Only four stars because I like the SWW even more!

We bought two of these covers for our infant daughter and were impressed by the patterns and the strong velcro. While they’ve held up to repeated washings with our hard water, the sizes are really cut small. Our baby is long and skinny and they’ve been short on her right from the start. Even though she’s very thin, we feel like we’re stuffing her into these wraps and even the small sized prefolds are much too long. We’ve had better luck with Wonderwraps and, even though the colors and quality seem cheap, the Duo-Wraps by Thirsties are a great fit.
